Withdrawal
Hormones and love
Do you know why you feel so euphoric when you’re in love? Why you feel happiness when you’re with your love? Do you know what happens in your body and how you can influence this all?
Well I’ll try to tell you something about this. I’ll tell you something about at least six hormones that are involved with love. You probably know them, at least the names. So let’s talk about adrenaline, dopamine, fenylethylamine, endorphin and oxytocin.
Dopamine
Did you know that when you’re in love, dopamine gives you the same feeling as when you would use cocaine? Every time you see your love, you get a shot of dopamine and it’s addictive. Everyone who has been in love knows they wanted to see the one they were in love with again and again and again.
But when you’re in a relationship for a longer period, let’s say about two years; your body doesn’t produce that much dopamine anymore. The feeling of being in love slowly changed in loving him or her.
When you eat healthy, you’ll probably get enough vitamin B6 and magnesium. Those two together make your body produce dopamine. So make sure you get enough. And besides food, nice things like sex can lead to an extra production of dopamine.
Fenylethylamine
Uhhh What? Yeah, try to pronounce this word without stumbling.
Fenylethylamine is produced in your brain. It has the same effect as XTC and speed. Your heartbeat is increasing, you start to breath faster, and the palms of your hands start to sweat, your cheeks and genitals get an extra blood flow and you start to feel happier.
When you eat a lot of cheese, eat lots of chocolate and drink plenty of red wine, maybe your brain gets some extra Fenylethylamine. (Besides the fact you’ll probably get nauseous.) Most of this gets decomposed in your intestines. When you have eye contact your brain also produces Fenylethylamine. The pupils of your eyes get bigger. But only when you see something you like. On the other hand, when you get the fright of your life, your brains starts producing this hormone too.
Adrenaline
Who hasn’t heard of it? The hormone that makes people run or fight. But when you’re in love adrenaline causes the reaction that you’re on standby all the way. Your pupils get bigger, your heart rate goes up, your breathing gets faster and you’re not so hungry because your digestive system starts to work slower.
If you want to let the adrenaline flow, get really angry, get into a situation where you get really scared, get overheated or go outside in your underwear when its ten degrees below zero outside or get some real physical exertion at the gym or maybe even at home with your loved one.
But be careful when you have a bad heart because in that case too much adrenaline can get you into trouble.
Endorphin
Endorphin is the morphine that your own body produces when you feel pain. When you’re in love it has the same effects as heroine and opium which cause you to feel more happy and joyful.
Eating fat, chocolate (Mmm again chocolate) and sugars make you produce more endorphin. An orgasm or running more than just around the block or far away from your in laws has the same effect.
When your body is producing less endorphin, there is a chance that you feel depressed or have mood swings.
Vasopressin
Vasopressin works for men in the same way as ocytocine does for women. It’s said that this hormone makes people monogamous.
If you want enough of this hormone, you'd better drink no alcohol. Alcohol is a restraining factor for the production of Vasopressin. When a man ejaculates there is a large amount of this hormone made by the hypothalamus and released in the blood stream. Vasopressin is also an antidiuretic hormone. So when you have enough of this hormone, you won’t wet your pants very easy. (If you have them on)
Oxytocin
Oxytocinis also called the mother hormone or cuddle hormone because when a mom breastfeeds her baby, this hormone is produced in large quantities. When you hug or caress this hormone is produced too. It makes you feel connected, takes away fear and makes you feel confident. That’s why a lot of people need foreplay before being able to make love all the way.
Where would we be without our own drug alike hormones?

Is a person capable of loving a hundred and 1 percent? I think that's what I am capable of doing. Ever since I've come across the rush of adrenaline and oxytoxin (some of the hormones responsible for feeling love), I wasn't able to stop. I haven't felt loved by the people around me, people whom I expected to love me in the first place because they were my family. And so I took refuge in the arms of a lot of the wrong people whom I thought were the right ones for the time being.
Years have passed and still I was in struggle. It was as if I was in a race I couldn't win because though I felt like running to get to somewhere so fast, I wasn't moving.
Now I found the one that I have been waiting for my whole life, the one that I know God made especially for me, I think I am messing it up.
Fact: I am in love with him.
But why am I being a pain in his ass?
For the past year, I have been nothing but a maze to him. A puzzle he couldn't put together.
Vague.
Complicated.
Compromised.
I want all his attention. I want him to listen. I want him to say he loves me all the time. I want him to make me feel that he does all the time. I want him to care about how I feel. I want him to understand if I'm not in the mood. I want him to understand if I'm angry. I want him to say sorry. I want him to sugar coat every single word he says to me when I'm angry. I want him to be calm if I'm screaming. I want him to comfort me while I'm crying. I want him to appreciate my efforts. I want him to stop drinking excessively. I don't want him to talk to other women. I don't want him to touch other women. I want him to find a job. I want him to make me see that he wants a future with me. I want to feel that he is ready for a family with me. I want him to rescue me from all of my depression and anxiety. I want to be with him. I want to kiss him. I want to hug him. I want to laugh with him. I want to feel him.
I.
That's the problem.
I only want what's best for me. I am selfish. I am jealous. I am paranoid. I suck at listening. I don't want to listen. I don't want to be told. I only want things done my way. I don't care how he feels. I don't know what he needs. I don't know what he really wants to do. I don't know if he really still loves me despite all of the pain that I'm causing.
I don't want to lose him. I do these because of this. I know I will if I continue being like this. I need to find a way to love him unconditionally.
I am truly sorry.

Service Meeting
We went to the SFC Center for our first ever service meeting. It was the preparation for our upcoming CLP, which is the first ever this year. Our chapter heads (Tita Kitin and Tito Cypher), tackled and delegated everything about the program and we we're assigned to different tasks. Our Team Leader is Tita Mico (my House Hold Leader) --so proud of her. Our Assistant Team Leader is Tita Grace. The CLP Supervisor is Tita Mariel. Our Facilitators are: Tita Zarina (my batch mate), Tita Myla (one of our House Hold Members), and Tita Brenda. They are the ones responsible in all the support they can give for the participants who will be assigned to them, they will also be the ones who will have talks with them during group discussions and sharing (I wanted to be one but it wasn't my time). The Music Ministry, which is responsible for the songs of praise that will be sang during the program are: Tita France, Tita Kaye and a guitarist from the CFC Choir. The Logistics/ Secretarial Ministry is responsible to handle correspondence, keep files, and do clerical work. They are Tita Vane, Tita Razel, and Tita Yveth. The Food Ministry, responsible for food preparation, serving drinks, and all others, are: Tita Merly, Tita Julie, and myself. I have been delegated in this ministry and not the ministry that I wanted to be in for a reason and I willingly accepted. We have a small team, everything should be covered because as I heard, we only have 11 participants so far.
We have been told that the service team should be at the Center an hour before each CLP session starts and the Food Ministry should already be prepared the day before the CLP session day.
We also talked about the upcoming MYA (Mid-year Assembly) for all the chapters of CFC-SFC KSA (Eastern). Our theme is "Back to school" and we are supposed to wear our school uniforms. I can't wait to have fun and meet with my brothers and sisters in Christ and to have the opportunity to praise and thank Lord God with them. :)

Bangles
Bangles and their intricacy
Bangles or Churi (Tamil: Valayal, Telugu: à°—ాà°œు, Malayalam: Vala, Nepali: Chura) are traditional ornaments worn by Indian women, especially Hindus. They are worn after marriage to signify matrimony. It is tradition that the bride will try to wear as many small glass bangles as possible at her wedding and the honeymoon will end when the last bangle breaks.
Some men wear a single bangle on the arm or wrist called as kada or kara. In Sikhism, The father of a Sikh bride will give the groom a gold ring, akara (steel or iron bangle), and a mohra. Chooda is a kind of bangle that is worn by Punjabi women on her wedding day. It is a set of white and red bangles with stone work. According to tradition, a woman is not supposed to buy the bangles she will wear.
A standard bangle is used as an adornment. A new special type of bangle doubles as a clip for hanging items such as a handbag.
History
Bangles—made from shell, copper, bronze, gold, agate, chalcedony etc.—have been excavated from multiple archaeological sites throughout India. A figurine of a dancing girl—wearing bangles on her left arm— has been excavated from Mohenjo-daro (2600 BC).
Other early examples of bangles in India include copper samples from the excavations at Mahurjhari—soon followed by the decorated bangles belonging to the Mauryan empire (322–185 BCE), and the gold bangle samples from the historic site of Taxila (6th century BCE). Decorated shell bangles have also been excavated from multiple Mauryan sites. Other features included copper rivets and gold-leaf inlay in some cases.
Design
Bangles are circular in shape, and, unlike bracelets, are not flexible. The word is derived from Hindi bungri (glass). They are made of numerous precious as well as non-precious materials such as gold, silver, platinum, glass, wood, ferrous metals, plastic, etc.
Bangles are part of traditional Indian jewelry. They are usually worn in pairs by women, one or more on each arm. Most Indian women prefer wearing either gold or glass bangles or combination of both. Inexpensive bangles made from plastic are slowly replacing those made by glass, but the ones made of glass are still preferred at traditional occasions such as marriages and on festivals.
The designs range from simple to intricate handmade designs, often studded with precious and semi-precious stones such as diamonds, gems and pearls. Sets of expensive bangles made of gold and silver make a jingling sound. The imitation jewelry, tend to make a tinny sound when jingled.
Types of Bangles
There are two basic types of bangles: a solid cylinder type; and a split, cylindrical spring opening/closing type. Primary distinguishing factor for these is the material that is used to make the bangles. This may vary anything from glass to jade to metal to lac and even rubber or plastic. Bangles made from gold also and now bangles are made of diamonds also and are considered the most expensive ones.
One factor that adds to the price of the bangles is the artifacts or the work done further on the metal. This includes embroidery or small glass pieces or paintings or even small hangings that are attached to the bangles. The rareness of a color and its unique value also increase the value. Bangles made from lac are one of the oldest ones and among the brittle category too. Lac is clay like material which in molded in hot kilns-like places to make these bangles. Among the recent entrants are the rubber bangles that are worn more like a wrist band by youngsters while the plastic ones are there to add the trendy look.
Normally, a bangle worn by people around the world is simply an inflexible piece of jewelry worn around the wrist. However, in many cultures, especially in the South Asia and in Arabian Peninsula, bangles have evolved into various types in which different ones are used at different occasions.
Service Meeting tomorrow.
Today: I was a slacker. I've decided not to work for I wasn't feeling good. (Partial lie; partial truth.)
I got engaged to my most missed things to do: goofing around and burying my face to the computer.
I discovered a new song (maybe I'm the only person on earth who thinks that it's new). I love the lyrics. I love the melody and the singer: Rob Thomas. The title of the song is Ever the same. Here are my favorite lines.
...Just let me hold you while you're falling apart
Just let me hold you and we'll both fall down....
Just let me hold you and we'll both fall down....
Then I listened to Westlife for hours. I couldn't believe how much I appreciated their songs. I used to start hating boy bands before because I liked alternative rock better. This changes everything. Try listening to Weslife's songs and you'll see. Their lyrics have deep and great meaning.
Then I started thinking about our service meeting tomorrow (CFC-SFC) in preparation for the upcoming CLP (Christian Life Program). It will last for 6 hours. I'm excited but I'm anxious. I don't know how to be a service team member. Being of service to others and being able to be there for them while they discover how great God's love for us is, should really be exhilarating. I'm exhilarated. I can't wait to know how I could be of help and what my contribution and participation would be.
Looking for this community and joining was really what I've been wanting. At first my reason was :
I want to be close to God and I want him in my life because I knew that he was our God and creator but I really didn't know him well. I wanted him to be a big part of me. Then my fiancée was already with the community and he said something about SFC that struck me.
"Everyday, when we get to wake up, is a great blessing from God. That alone should be thanked for and it is not enough that we plainly say that we are thankful because God has given us everything and he deserves more. That's what we do in the community. We praise him and thank him altogether and for me, music is my way of showing him that I'm thankful."
That's what he said.
That inspired me more. If you think about it, really think about, he was right. And that made me want to be a part of the community more.
I plan to be a leader someday.(Not so sure if I can.) Someone who can evangelize a lot of people by my words alone. Someone who can try to remind other people that God is good all the time.
Looking forward to it but I have a long way to go. Work in struggling progress. :)
Supposedly Quitting.
I was planning on quitting smoking today. My plan was not to buy a pack starting today and just think of not dying early because I did so for starters. Then again, I failed. I failed because smoking calms me and it was a very stressful day. My fiancée was the cause of it all. And because I'm not really a big fan of worrying, I started to think of
quitting love as well. All in days work. I thought that I could do it. No special effort required. Saying it was just so easy. "I quit." Not that hard to say. (Try it.) But then, the hardest part was realizing and thinking things through. "Should I be so radical?", "This is crazy and shallow." "He should be moving on fast. He'll be fine." "How about me? Can I do this?" (I talked to myself yet again.) I did nothing for I was unsure. I was about to kick the best thing that ever happened out of my life. I get to be scared and hesitate for a minute here. I got to talk to him after hours of waiting. He was in awe. All he can say was freakin' "SORRY". No valid reasons. No nothing. I yelled. And yelled. Smoked five sticks of Marlboro's one after another. And calmed down. It went down to the conclusion of never-ending acceptance, understanding, and forgiveness. This goes to show that quitting smoking and love isn't easy after all.

Hard to find
Millions of faces I have seen
though I was searching for one
Most of them were vague
You were hard to find,,
Millions of places I have been
though I was hoping to be in one
Most of them were dull
I was never happy
everything moved in a fast pace
That place was hard to find,,
Millions of things I have done
though I was wanting to do one
Most of them made me restless
I was never at peace
everything made me tired
everything made me helpless
That one thing to do was hard to find,,
Millions of people tried to take me by the hand
but I only took one
It was yours
everything moved in a slow pace
the time has stopped
we were lying on our bed
everything else was vague
and your face was the only one clear
You held me close to you
I felt loved
I felt you
This is priceless
This has been hard to find,,

Wonders of my world
Out of boredom and lack of sleepiness, ever wonder what happens inside a cremation chamber? Well, the truth of the matter is: no one alive would ever know. Even the ones who own the crematorium would never ever really know how it looks like in there while it's happening. Ever wonder why Geisha's take bids for the first ever sex they'll experience in life? Was it customary that they did or was the money they would get from it gets donated to some charity (If it existed before). Ever wonder where feelings really come from? Is there a specific organ that generates them? The hypothalamus? The heart? The brain? Ever wonder how other government agencies capture clear photographs of people they we're spying on even if they we're nowhere to be seen while it was taken? A satellite that's miles away? A super camera that was never released and announced in public? Ever wonder how scary it would have been if we experienced Dinosaurs? Could we have survived? Ever wonder why dragons are so fascinating? Could it be because they're fictional characters of a genius who thought about they're so called existence before? Ever wonder why Google is so amazing? Maybe because we can type anything we want on the search engine and get results right away. Effin' genius! Ever wonder why some are awfully rich and cannot think of a way to spend their millions anymore while others are slaves for them? Maybe because they we're born rich but cursed? Maybe because they worked hard for what they have? Maybe because some are not ambitious enough for them to have what the rich has? Ever wonder why some people are addicted to something? What causes it? How the hell did the addiction start anyway? Who and what triggered it? Ever wonder why constellations are formed? Why were they formed? What are their purposes? Ever wonder how stale wine is made? I know how but I wondered about that before. Ever wonder if dogs can smile or make face? Do they frown if you tell them to go to the tub for their bath? Do they smile like a 4 year old when you're about to go out for a walk with them and when you're about to give them a treat? Ever wonder what your pain tolerance is? What measures it? A weighing scale? A thermometer? Or a specific tool that's unknown to me until now? Am I the only person who doesn't know about this? Ever wonder why every person in the universe can be distinguished by fingerprints? Whose idea was this? Why do we have different fingerprints? Are there people who have the same, identical ones? Ever wonder why we wonder? Why are we curious? Who can answer our questions? Am I crazy? What caused my curiosity? Am I overcurious? Is this something normal? Is it healthy to be curious?

Inspiration
"Love is worth the risk of loss; Anger harms no one more than he who harbors it; Both bitterness and true happiness are choices that we make, not conditions that fall upon us from the hands of fate; Peace is to be found in the acceptance of things that we are unable to change; Friends and family are the blood of life, and the purpose of existence is caring and commitment."

:)
My favorite quote: "When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it." On this day, I wished for peace of mind.. Thank you to everybody and everything that cooperated for me to get what I wanted. Thank you to all of you who greeted and wished for something for me on my birthday.
God bless us all. :)
God bless us all. :)
